About this deal

When this hand-baking process is applied to manufacture pearls, irregularly shaped beads may be obtained, inferior in color and in other qualities.

With their soft and chewy consistency, these tapioca pearls add a fun and enjoyable element to your drinks. Make your own Bubble tea, Boba Milk tea, Thai Ice Tea, or ice coffee with this Tapioca Pearl at your own home.

I was born in Sri Lanka, grew up in New Zealand and lived in Australia, and then the US, before moving to Canada in 2019! To make dried tapioca pearls – spread the boba pearls on a half sheet pan, and let them dry out for about 4 – 6 hours. Boba tea can be served hot or cold depending on your preference and there are many different flavours to choose from including strawberry, kiwi, green apple, cherry, lychee, peach, passionfruit, mango, blueberry, raspberry, coconut, matcha, taro, melon, and pineapple.

This generally works and I have tried it in 3 different brands and had success but I had to adjust the ratio in one of them. Casein, Sodium Caseinate, Calcium Caseinate, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Calcium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Acid-Modified Starch, Methyl Cellulose, Sodium Polyacrylate, Carrageenan, Xanthan Gum, Alginic Acid, etc. Traditional versions of tapioca pearls made from native starch sources like palm hearts or glutinous rice include pearl sago, landang, and kaong. Black tapioca pearls or boba are colored tapioca balls used for milk or 'bubble' teas that are very popular nowadays.

Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Benzyl Acetate, Phenylethyl Acetate, Terpinyl Acetate, Cinnamyl Acetate, Geranyl Acetate, Citronellyl Acetate, Linally Acetate, Isoamyl Acetate, etc. Cooking them further in the syrup will also turn the boba pearls completely translucent (if they weren't before). Tapioca contains cyanide, and depending on whether or not the tapioca is made for human consumption or industrial purposes there will be less or more cyanide.

While I was rolling, the dough dried out a bit, so I just dipped my fingers in the warm coffee, and rehydrated it.

The first batch might be a test run for you, and then you can adjust the cooking time to your liking. Then, at one hour intervals, use your palm to lightly roll the balls on the surface of the half sheet pan. The beauty of popping boba is the ability to provide a flavour twist without affecting the main flavour of the drink or dessert itself, every bite is a flavour explosion that never disappoints!Made by Wufuyuan, a trusted brand in the world of tapioca products, these pearls are carefully crafted to ensure a consistent and satisfying texture. Vendors who sell the drink usually add syrup or creamer before serving, or serve it on top of shaved ice.
