About this deal

The Doctor plans to lure the Eater back to the portal during daylight, but requires someone inside preventing the creature's escape. With TV producer Gerry Anderson, former Doctor Who Magazine editors Alan Barnes and Clayton Hickman, comic historian Jeremy Bentham and author Paul Scoones. This tenth series begins with the 2016 Christmas special - the only episode of Doctor Who to be broadcast in that year - and fortunately it is a super start and another great festive episode from Moffat. The main theme of the story is that of closure, and looking back on the past as a means to confront a future of uncertainty.

The only negative I can think of is that most of these features are on official YouTube channels anyway, and there isn't as many as there were on the Series 9 set. Fady Elsayed, who starred in the Doctor Who spin-off Class, was originally set to guest star in an episode of Doctor Who.While the addition of this content is nice for fans who haven't already seen it online, I still think the sixth disc would have been better utilised for that year's Christmas Episode, Twice Upon a Time, which is also Capaldi's last episode on the show. The Doctor and Bill don diving suits and purposely let the lights take them; they find a giant sea creature ensnared by chains.

This is such a sublimely good way of ending the three-episode plot in series 10 of the Doctor being blind which was interesting because it forced him to face a new challenge and adapt. The Time Lord is keen to show his new friend, Bill Potts, the wonders of the universe, but loveable Nardole reminds him of an oath he has taken to guard the contents of a mysterious vault. Menüführung und Gestaltung, sowie DVD Extras sind eigentlich wie mans immer von Dctor Who gewohnt ist. World Enough and Time starts with a seismic shock at the start when Bill is shot by one of the crew members of a colony ship in distress because each time there is a human on his floor the Cybermen emerge from the lift to collect them.Series 10: Part 1 is available now and covers the first six episodes of the Twelfth Doctor’s finale series. However, the episode comes a cropper in its pay off when the Doctor, Bill, Nardole and some soldiers invade the Monks pyramid where their signals are coming from and at first the Doctor fails to replace them with the truth. Series 10 is one of my favourite New Who series' and after missing out on the series 9 steelbook I could not on this one! It just appears all too convenient and unfortunately a bit too primitive that Bill's memory of her mother - from pictures given to her back in The Pilot - then being transmitted when she makes her attempt, is the resolution to defeating the Monks grip on humanity.

After the Doctor and Nardole locate the lab, Nardole collapses following exposure to the bacteria whilst waiting in the TARDIS. Stripped for Action- The Daleks: The ongoing series looking at the Doctor's comic book adventures focuses on his deadliest foes - the Daleks! Studio Footage: Looking In was originally broadcast on 7th November 1972 as part of the BBC's 50th anniversary celebrations. The scenes with Missy are the finest in the episode and she viciously suggests the only way to defeat the Monks is for Bill to be sacrificed as she gave the consent to them initially. However, the simulation is too exact, as his sonic sunglasses still work, and the virtual Doctor sends his information to the real Doctor warning of the coming invasion. The setting of the Cairn on the hill which is meant to be in 2nd century Scotland, is very pretty while the music played by the self-sacrificed Picts and Romans that can still be heard from the collapsed Cairn in the modern day at the beginning and end of the episode is both spirited and poignant. While checking the Vault beneath the University, Nardole hears something behind it knock repeatedly.

In July 2015, the annual review for BBC Worldwide indicated that it had invested in a tenth series of the programme. However, the final episode in the Monks trilogy, The Lie of the Land, is the only episode in series 10 that remains to me as a weak link even on second watch. Look a thing all the others previous covers, they are most likely hiding some monsters or waiting to finish it off, the finished will be much better, as they all are. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties. Stewart Bevan Interview: An interview with the actor who played Professor Clifford Jones, the environmentally-conscious professor who falls for the Doctor's companion, Jo Grant, in this story.

The Landlord attempts to send the Dryads after the Doctor and Bill, but Eliza manages to control them.
